Lately I have been reminded via clients, gym-goers, and articles, how intimidating a gym setting can be.
It's sad. Women (and men) feel that they have to get in shape BEFORE they work out in a gym. They don't like people watching them sweat. I have heard that there is a fear of the equipment, or looking silly as they try to figure it out. I have heard gym-goers called "meat heads" and "barbies".
I hate it that people use the "intimidation factor" to keep them from living a healthy lifestyle.
Let's not compare ourselves to others. We will ALWAYS lose. Even if we are a meat head.
