OK. So I admit it. We moved into our new house yesterday and spent all day today unpacking. So excited about our new house, and my hubby keeps reminding me that this is one of the most stressful things a family can go through. BUT, I've been pooped and haven't even made time for myself and my fitness for a few days. But tomorrow is a new week.
Tonight as I sit here feeling guilty, I read an article that talked about Barack Obama's fitness routine. 6-7 days/week, 90 minutes per day. NINETY! He is probably arguably one of the busiest people in the country. But he obviously sees fitness as a priority. He wants his body to perform at peak performance. Not because he's an athlete, but because he needs his body to keep up with everything he has to do to run this country. He probably understands how important all that extra blood flow to his brain really is.
So I think if our president can find 90 minutes in his day, the rest of us probably can too!
Tomorrow I am FORCING my long run. In my NEW neighborhood. Which I LOVE.
